With over a decade of experience in the industry, including successfully running three fitness studios in Melbourne, Alexis brings a wealth of knowledge and an innovative approach to fitness.
His philosophy is centered on the concept of the ‘hybrid athlete’ – promoting versatility and well-roundedness in fitness. He believes in combining various physical disciplines to enhance strength,
endurance, flexibility, and agility. This approach is reflected in the diverse range of classes offered at A’lab. Alexis is also deeply committed to community building and creating an inclusive, motivating environment where everyone can thrive.

Juan Carlos, affectionately known as “Chamo,” brings a vibrant energy to A’lab with his 6 years of fitness training experience.
Specializing in strength training and kettlebell workouts, he’s a certified expert from Strong First Academy and Kettlebells Barcelona.
His training philosophy, “get strong having fun papi,” reflects his commitment to making each session both challenging and enjoyable.
Chamo’s classes focus on developing strength through fundamental movements, enhancing mind-body connection and empowering athletes with knowledge.
Outside the gym, he’s passionate about psychology, photography, and astrology, bringing a diverse set of interests to our community.
